Weekend Roundup

All things Aeneas, Thanksgiving and Sappho

Dear Classical Wisdom Reader,

Down here at the end of the world we didn’t have the holidays off, so we are celebrating Turkey day tomorrow…. which means your editor is in full preparation mode. We’ve got a 10 kilo bird thawing, sides to prep, tables to take apart and put together again… all in our effort of providing the expats and in-town gringos some gratitude inspired festivities.

With near 30 folks coming round, I’ll certainly be busy!

As for those of you who are still recovering from your Tryptophan induced soporific state, no need to get up! Just sit back, relax and read this week’s Classical Wisdom articles below… proving you can learn plenty from the supine position.
