Dear Classical Wisdom Reader,

Yesterday, in the cold and wet pampas, it was clear spring had not quite sprung….and yet today, with the sun shining and the red breasted Robin singing, it appears that Demeter has finally been reunited with her dear pomegranate-loving daughter Persephone.

It’s quite appropriate really, as here in Argentina it’s Día de la Madre, or Mother’s Day. To celebrate this made up (yet still greatly appreciated) holiday, we’re off to lunch and a stroll in one of my favorite museums in the city, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes. The Rodin on the first floor is simply divine!
