On Seneca: Anger, Fear, and Sadness

Event News

Dear Classical Wisdom Reader,

In today's fast-paced world, feelings of anger, fear, and sadness can often become overwhelming... But how can we draw strength from ancient wisdom to navigate these emotions and find resilience within ourselves?

On August 19th Plato’s Academy Centre, along with Classical Wisdom, will host an event with the aim to uncover the timeless teachings of Seneca, whose works continue to inspire and guide us in our modern struggles.

Featuring fantastic authors and professors, we will delve into Seneca's philosophical texts and uncover his unique perspectives on coping with life's challenges. We will explore practical strategies for cultivating emotional resilience, developing a sense of inner calm, and finding solace amidst the chaos of daily life… and learn a lot about Seneca along the way!

Donations not only enable us to keep hosting these events, but go towards the development of a Plato’s Academy Centre on-site location near the original Plato’s Academy in Akadimia Platonos, Athens.

It is our mission to restore the original site and give Plato - and Plato’s Academy - the recognition and respect he deserves. Make sure to join us on August 19th to learn more:

I hope to see you there!

All the best,
